Have you Count your Blessings Today?

Hey Guys ,
Have you counted your blessings today ? I have and I lost count because there are so many ..... God really blesses me more than I deserve !!! A friend told me to write down 20 things I am thankful for before I go to bed . Sometimes we live our busy lives and get so depressed because there isn't much time or whatever but when you sit down and write down what you are thankful for you will be surprised at what God has done for you !!! Don't let LIFE get you down because one day we wont have to worry about that anymore because we will be with GOD who is perfect, loving, caring, and wants you part of his plan !!! Here are a few of my 2o things I am thankful for :
1) The Cross
2) My Salvation
3) Family and friends
I want to challenge you all to do this and you will be surprised what you will see what God has done for you !! I have been meeting new friends just in my Sunday School class who have been helpful in my life and I am thankful God put them there!!! I love my God and what he has done in my life !!! He is so amazing and I can't stop saying how much I love him and I am glad he gave his son just for me and you !!! Well I guess that is it for now !!! Just remember God does care and he does bless when you think he hasn't ...... Also I want to leave you with a quote I have heard from a wonderful, witness for christ, and friend of mine said " God is not out to hurt our PRIDE- He is out to KILL it !!''

God Has Been Good!!!

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is having a great week so far!!! I am having a great week so far !!! I took my brother out of the house Wednesday!!! We went to Tupelo and just spent time with him ..... Yesterday was 5 weeks since his back surgery and he has been doing good!!! We are so glad that God healed him and is working in his life!!! We are thankful for our family doctor who found his condition and sent us to a specialist !!! God knows what he is doing !!! I am truly blessed to have a great family and supportive friends who are there when I need them !!!! I am thankful God gave me those these eventhough I didn't deserve them !!! I am glad my God is a loving Father who protects his children !!! I hope everyone know him and has a personal relationship with him !!! Well thats it for now !!! Way Past Due!!!

Hey Guys ,
Sorry its been a long time since I blogged !!! It has been crazy here!!! But everyone is doing great my brother is recovering great !!! But a friend of mine had major surgery yesterday but he is doing great and is in a room !!! I am truly blessed what God has done in my life and the people he put in it !!! I know God had a purpose for each and everyone of them !!! I can't imagine my life with out either one of them!!! God has shown me a lot this past few months and he hasn't given up on me and never will thank goodness !!! He is definitely amazing !!! Well I hope everything is going well for you all!!! I hope God does the same with you guys because it is amazing what God can do for you and the people you love and cherish !!! Keep God first and Keep your heads high because God will lift you up from a low place and put you up on higher ground !!! Keep up the good fight because God is smiling down you !!! I will try to keep up but sometimes it is difficult with my busy life !!!

Easter 2011 / Happy Resurrection Day !!!

Hey Guys,
I hope you all are having a great Easter !!! I had a great time in worship this morning !!! We had 2 children and 2 youth get baptized this morning!!! It is amazing at how God is blessing our church family !!! I loved the phrase that our preacher said .... " He isn't here because he is RISEN !!" ..... I know my God will come back to get his children but until that day I am going to learn more and more of his word and win others to Christ !!! I know I can't save them but only God can !!! God has put some wonderful people in my life to show me where I need to go and I am thankful he has they are have become part of my life and I am blessed to have them !!! But I realized how amazing God is !!! He sent those people in my life because he knew they would help me be the person I needed to be !!! He has a plan for it isn't to harm me but to prosper me !! I love that song and some others !!! I could use a lot of words and still couldn't really tell how I feel about him !!! He is the lover of my soul, my provider, my protector , and he is soon coming back !!! I hope you are ready because he is coming !!!! I am glad I am getting ready because I want him to be able to say you are my faithful servant !!!!
If I don't see you again ..... I know I will see some of you on the other side !!!!

22nd Birthday

Hey Guys,
I just celebrated my 22nd Birthday yesterday !!! I was amazed at all the birthday wishes from people I am in contact with everyday to people I see every blue moon from high school!!! It shows how much people care!!! When you leave this place one day what will people say about you ??? I want people to think of me as a Radical Follower of Jesus Christ !!! In Matthew 28 verses 18-20 tells we are to make disciples !!! That does mean to " scare them out of Hell" .... It means to disciple them into growing Christians.... We tend to do that and not show them how to grow !!! I want to see people grow like I am learning how to grow and to tell other about the Love of God ..... I also want people to say she was on fire for God and still was until she died!!!! I am learning news things each and everyday when I am in the Word of God !!! I am learning to Love and Live like Christ even though I still sin but I am constantly talking and walking with God everyday !!! I don't know the plans he has for me but I know they aren't to harm me but prosper me into what he wants ..... He is the Potter and I am the Clay !!! Well I hope I made sense but I also hope you learned something from this !!! Well take care and remember to be nice to people because you never know when they are having a bad day or just need a some Love from God's children !!!

Hey Guys,
It has been a beautiful day !!! I have been thinking here lately about how awesome God is !!! 1) how he created everything 2) letting his only son die for us so that we can live eternally with him !! I forget sometimes until I am walking alone in the park or just outside messing around. He created storms and sunshine !!! Even though I don't like storms its amazing how everything was created by the God who formed us so that we could praise and witness to others about him !!!! God created everyone of us in his own image !!! I guess I need to stop with my busy life and just thank God for all he has done for me !!! God has truly blessed me through out my life !!! He has given me wonderful people in my life ........ He has given me a wonderful husband whom I truly love and respect ..... I know he isn't perfect but neither am I !!! Then he has given me my parents , grandparents and extended family and most of all my church family ...... I also have met this couple that has been a blessing to me and my family and that is The Holcombs .... They are great christian people who love God !!! I love them like my own family !!! I have met some many other people who have been great influences in my life as well but I can't name them all!!!
I hope everyone else has people that have touched them in so many ways..... just stop and thank God for those people in your life and also let them know !!! You never know when God will call us home !!!

Hey Guys!!!
I hope everyone is having a great day even though it is rough outside!!! I have had a great day so far!!! I am going with my Mom and brother tomorrow for my brothers appointment in Memphis!!! Trey is doing great so far .... He has a few problems but the doctors says it will take sometime!!! He has gone back to school but only can stay for about a hour and a half!!! My brother and I have a great relationship which I am proud to have him as my brother !!! He has been my inspiration !!! He has been so great during and after his surgery !!!
On another note ..... God has truly blessed me with a great family and wonderful friends who have been great these past months !!! God is awesome and I couldn't thank him enough !!! Also he has blessed us with a loving,caring, and wonderful church family !!! You know God didn't have to give me all these wonderful things but he knew I needed them and knew who to put in my life to help me out !!! I hope everyone has experienced something like this !!! Prayer is Powerful!!!

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is doing good !!! I am doing great just learning more about how to be a better disciple to God and how I can change somethings in my life and how to have a better relationship with my Father in Heaven !!! I am beginning to learn more and more and also amazed at how much difference I can make with other people!!! I am memorizing scriptures to hide in my heart so one day when I need them I can just spit them out !!! God is truly amazing and he is doing great things in my life!!! I didn't realized how powerful prayer is until one day I prayed that God would send someone to me to challenge me but in a good way that was pleasing to God and He did !!! It is neat how God sends people to you when you need them !!! I have memorized most of the Romans Road and plan to know more !!! I pray that if you don't have a great relationship with God or you are just lost and looking for answers about "Where is God" or " What God has planned for me " .... Know that God never leaves you , we are the ones who walk away !!! Well that is it for now !!! I hope everyone has a blessed day and I will post again soon !!

Amazing Life !!!

Hey Guys,
I have been learning how to be a disciple for about three weeks now ..... Its new to me and its a couple in our church that have a ministry that teaches how to be a disciple for Christ !!! It is an amazing experience and I love the couple who is teaching it!!! They are my inspiration because I love the way they love Jesus !!! Through this teaching I have learned how to maintain a personal bible study on my own and how to pray and have a conversation with Jesus!!! I am blessed to have this couple in my life and church family !!!! I have memorized scriptures and I haven't had to memorize scriptures in years !!!

When I started going to these classes I have talked to the lady before for other reasons and when first met her I thought to myself that woman lives for Christ , I want to live like too..... So about a month went by and Mom asked me to go with her to a bible bible study ...... Then God knocked on heart and said you need to keep doing this !!!
Well I will keep you informed on how things are going and what the Father has shown me !!!

Busy Time !!!

Hey Guys,
It has been quiet sometime since I blogged on here..... Since then I have left ICC and have gotten married.... We are have been married 6 months now !! It doesn't seem that long . Also my family has gone through some tough times now . In October my brother had food poisoning and the doctor found his serve scoliosis . We went to a specialist in Memphis where they did a MRI on his spine and found a condition called Chiari Malformation .... Which is a condition where the brain stem meets the spinal cord opening where the spinal fluid goes and it causes the spinal fluid to not be able to go anywhere and caused a lot of problems that seemed to be nothing but did become something..... He had the Chiari surgery on March 7 th and left the hospital on March 16th .... He had surgery at Lebonheur ..... That hospital is a great hospital !!! My brother has one more surgery on May 18 th to have rods put in his back !!!! But he is doing great !!! I am a proud sister of a very brave brother !!! God has truly blessed me with a great family whom I love so much ....... My church is another place that is great !!! We have great people in our church that lives for Jesus and is trying to reach people to Christ !!!
I am thankful that I have a place I can worship and christian friends and family I can come to and most of all I am thankful I have my Father in Heaven who I can run to with problems or just to praise him !! I am learning how to get closer to God better and memorizing his scripture to hide in my heart so I can tell others about eternal life and amazing love the Father has for all of us !!! Tomorrow Is A New Day

Hey Guys,
It has been a while since I have updated my blog.... I have been so busy here lately. Well I am doing this thing for my English class where we have to deprive ourselves from something that we enjoy or whatever and I chose Facebook because I am so focused on it so much . I have actually am doing better than I thought I would. I only have to more days left! But to be honest I miss being on Facebook catching up on my friends and family! Well here I am at my last year as an ICC student. I have mixed emotions but it means the wedding is not to far behind! ... I am just ready to be done with all the stress and worries that goes with the getting married and graduating ..... I am also in the CNA program which I am enjoying ! This week is going to be so busy for me ... Monday night I have CNA class, Tuesday night is the Jazz Band Dance, Wednesday is CNA class and BSU , Thursday night is BSU Dinner, and Friday night I have to work and Saturday I have to work and Sunday I have clinicals !!! Then the next week is exams and then I will be moving out !!! I have met so many wonderful people who have become great friends ! I have had great teachers that have helped me a lot through my years here!... College has been a great experience for me but I know God has further plans for my future and I can't wait to see what he has in store for me! God has truly blessed me with so many new friends !
But that is it for now I will try to update more often ...

We must look to God !!

Hey Guys,
This semster is flying by so fast! I also have met new friends here this semester. I had a friend leave and go back to the Gulf Coast to be with her family . I miss her so much but I am thankful for technology because I can keep in touch with her. September is going to be here before we know it and I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am not second guessing myself just knowing that this will be big change for both Harvey and I and of course our families as well!!! God has been good to me as always . He put great people in my path who have helped me out in so many ways and probably half of them don't know it yet!!....... Family and Friends are there to help you out either during the good or bad which most of them have been there for me through those times!!! ...... But life will always be a rollar coaster but we must look up to God and know that he will hold our hands and walk us through the tough times and the good times and he NEVER leaves us ..... It may seem that way but he is always there cheering us on and guiding us through!!! Well thats it for now!!!

Just Been Thinking Lately!!

Hey Guys,
I have been think lately how I let things get to me when they should be little things. This week has been long and tough. This weekend God took some people that I didnt know that well but knew a little and some I didn't know . I thought about my Uncle and Ryne today how much they ment to me and he I miss them dearly . Even though I had some rough path with Ryne the good thing is we got things straight before he went to be with the Lord. I know they are in a better place but as humans it is hard to deal with death.
I have had the question in my head should I be scared of death or be happy that I will reunit with my Heavenly Father who created every part of me and loves me for who I am not what I have done!! I also have thought about how AWESOME my Heavenly Father is and how much I want to serve him. I know he will protect and guide his children and hold our hands through the tough times like our earthly fathers would do .

Sorry For Not Posting!!

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted on here.... God is doing amazing things in my life.....I have been pretty busy though...... I have been mostly busy with school or with my family and working...... I just got accepted in the CNA program at ICC .... I am so excited about that and see what God has in stored for me and my future!!!.....I have learned to be thankful for what you have because one day you may never have that again..... God has shown that to me by taking my Uncle with him , almost lost my Grandfather but it wasnt his time yet , and I am enjoying my friendships with my friend that I have met at ICC and have grown to love them as part of my family. I have also learned that some friends are like your family even though they arent blood and that we should cherrish every moment we have with the people we love because we aren't promised tomorrow!! But that is it for now ..... but I am going to try to keep ya in touch ...

Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!

Dear friends,
I have so many things to be thankful for !!...... 1) God letting his only son die for all my sins 2) My family 3) My friends that are like family 4) Other friends 5) electronics 6) electricity 7) roof over my head 8) a car to drive 9) clothes that keep me warm and protect me 10) Food and Dr.Peppers !!Those are few of many things I am thankful for...... I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my Family..... Well I have been dealing with school and trying to plan a wedding ....... and there are so many weddings that are happening this up coming year..... There are 4 in my family including me.... 2 of my friends.....Yeah what a busy year ahead.... But the 4th wedding addition to the family happened actually on Thanksgiving day !! It is my dad's youngest sister we are so happy for her!!!.....
But anyways now that Thanksgiving is over with now we have Christmas coming up and people are worried about not getting presents bought ..... I think people get way ahead of themselves and don't stop to think why we celebrate Christmas also you hear on the news or in the newspaper of people getting mad about people saying Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas and now they are trying to take that away !!...... But they arent stopping me for celebrating my savior's birth !!!

Fall 2009

Hey Guys,

Wow .... This Fall has gone by so fast. A lot has happened this semester..... 1) I have met new friends that God has put in my life and I have grown to love them 2) Harvey and I set the date for our wedding .... September 4th , 2010 3)Have been busy with band, Ra, BSU, planning for the wedding , and trying to graduate in May 4) But number 1 thing is getting closer to God everyday and learning to let him lead me and to guide me in the path that he has planned for me. Which if you know me real well then you know that I am very hard headed and God has put some bumps in my path to make me understand that he is in CONTROL not me ..... but I have been trying to learn more of what God has in stored for me !!!....... I struggle with a lot of things now days but I have given them to God !!!...... Sometimes we dont know why God does the things he does but we have to have faith and believe he is in control and know what he is doing ....... I am learning to appreciate life and love my family and friends more than I have in the past because you never know when God will call you home !!! .... Well this is it for now ..... Hopefully it wont take to long to get back on here.... but I have been busy lately !!! May God Bless !!

Long Week!!

Sorry Guys for being so behind. I have been busy with school and school related stuff. Lets what has been going on in the life of Haley!! I am an RA again this year and we have started off bad but it will get better hopefully, band has been good but hot and tiring...... BSU is amazing as usual because its like church when your not at home ....... I have been thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my life because I am hopefully getting married November 6th 2010 after my dear friend Ashley Stokes gets married in June of 2010....... I have met new friends that are crazy like me but in a good way ..... I guess we cant live without the craziness around here...... Trying to get my relationship with christ where it used to be !!! ........ Also been trying to keep in touch with my friends that have gone on to Universities and getting their education there.........Cant think of anything else but I will try to keep yah posted .... Well I hope everyone has a great rest of the week !!!

Emotional Day !!

Hey Everyone,
Today has been a little emotional for me and my family and the kids I babysat this summer.... I moved in my dorm this afternoon ...... I have grown to love those two kids ........ I am also having some future planning issues...... It involves me getting married and going to school or getting through school then married ....... It is a tough decision because I am ready to settle down and start a family but also dont want any issues either the first year of marriage..... I just have a lot on my mind.........

Also I have been in this bible study with the college students on Sunday and Wednesday nights and this bible study has shown me a lot about what God is really like and about ...... I really didnt stop and think about how awesome it is that WE are the rarest people b/c God made us special and NO ONE is like us ..... God created us for him and only him....... God has shown me alot of things that are between us but I know God is working in my life and is putting people in my path to help lift me up and give me wise knowledge of what the Father wants.......

I hope everyone had a great but safe summer now that is slowly coming to a end..... School is about to start and my life is going to get more busy ....... Well May God bless you all

Crazy !!!

Hey Everybody!!!
Sorry it has been a while since I have been on here... I have been pretty busy with work and family !!!..... I went to go watch one of my friends get married.... The wedding was beautiful and sweet.... Our church has found another youth minster and he is really great .... God is doing a lot in my life and I am thankful he has control of my life ....... I have been blessed with great family and friends that love and care for me !! I enoy spending time with them ..... I also love my God who is so amazing and protects me and loves me for who I am ........ I miss my friends from school but dont miss school at all !!!......I have learned from God that he will never give you something you cant handle!.... Eventhough it may seem like you cant but really you can .... it just takes time with everything.... And I know they people that are going on mission trips will have God behind them and protecting them as they do what they were called to do in his name ...... I have been praying for them and trying to encourage some of them and if you are reading this and you are going on a mission trip I am praying and I want yah to know I love yah and am going to do my best to encourage you ...... May God bless your heart and everything you do !!!

Joyful Tears!!!

Hey Everybody,
I have been looking at other people's blogs and they have been talking about it beening their last week ever at ICC..... Some of them are my best friends but I know they will be ok and God will protect them ..... I have learned a lot from them and have grown to love them as my friends and they have a piece of my heart ......

But also I have planted on my heart is judgement..... I know we all judge people by the outward appearance but we don't realize what really is going on in the heart..... If I had judged my best friends about outward appearance some of them I would probably not consider my friends..... I have been judged by others because of my outward actions wish were sins that I have gotten God's forgiveness and I have forgiven myself .... It hurts when people judge you like that ..... That is why I don't trust many friends with somethings but I am thankful God put a hand full of people that I could trust and learn from ...... Also I am thankful that God has put his word in front of me where I can learn from what he has to say ...... I love my Heavenly Father and I praise him for saving me and giving his only son to die for me ..... That brings tears of joy to my eyes knowing one day I will get to see my Father in Heaven Face-to-Face and live with him for eternity ....... and I want have to worry about other people judging me......

I love the words that one of my best friends said about a situation ... I am not sure actually all the words but it was something like this " I will love as my friend and I wouldn't worry about my judgement towards you because I am not the one who is going to judge you at the end" I love those words she said because she is right we shouldn't worry about other people's judgement because we should be worried about being judge by our heavenly father......
